haha..kids=tired. that's winston's new word association.
last few days (7-9june) were spent with pri 1-3 children from xingnan primary school. had to wake up like 5.45, 6, 6.15 am in the morning, hop on the train and get to boon lay by 7.30am. wow...lucky kevin who lives in JE..sleep till 7am then take his own sweet time to get there. and winston keeps being late. next time ask k3V1n to wake you up..give u a super morning call.
i love children. initially kev, wins and i were like...'die lah..next few days gonaa die liao' haha. but i think all of us enjoyed the camp alot. especially the slacking part after the camp ends...haha. the pigging out at crystal jade, swensons and walking around aka shopping in Jurong Point. the serious discussions we had on topics like er-hm...not telling you.
the kids are so(to infinity) cute. some are just soooooooooo adorable and cute. ok...qoute Nol, they are like 'bundles of energy bouncing off the walls' and with the syrup we feed them every few hours..wow! super duper high man...all the facilitators were like drained by the second day. just imagine this: noise, screaming, shouting, whining, high pitched voices, endless catching games...haha..swen..this is
seriously unneccessary noise ok.i think i am old lor...can't play catching or duck duck goose for too long. i seriously liked performance preparation. cos i taught them how to dance simple HIP HOP!!! wowhee.. i really like dance. ok, though the kids still couldn't really coordinate...i think they still did great :) haha..and it's the 1st time i cheorographed a dance. *grins* *bounces* *high 5!* *cheers* p/s: haha..kevin, you really look nice in your young PAP aka SJI aka Prince suit. woohoo. :)
haha you know what. the most interesting thing is watching guys play with children. some are really like magnets..kids are drawn to them lor.. like weiloong and kai xiang. some have girls and boys climbing on their back-like kevin. and some just do not want to stifle their creativity..like winston. some treat them as though the kids are in the army undergoing ns like Nol...ahah.
but sometimes we really gotta shout and scold them cos children..sigh..wouldn't keep still for a minute. ;) I still remember shouting 'if you don't listen, we'll just walk out on you and leave you all to embarass yourself on stage'. ok..that was kind of when i blew my top and gave them a telling down. but i am really thankful that my group didn't have trouble makers like certain groups (just some cooperative ones)...some kids really hurl vulgarities and throw stuff and fight with other kids. at least i have a princess (rachel), a queen (me) and the smart alec (jun)..haha.. and i earned a massage from little Edward on the last day. so cute...he's so adorable.then there is Colin who keeps yawning and can really imitate playing a rock guitar. whoohoo.
the three days were really good. took my mind of the more worrying stuff like CT. and all the worries in the world. it was a tunnel for me to escape. only for me to finally realise that it had no exit and i had to turn back. now i am back to reality. hope the kids will have a good holiday. they're too young to be burdened like us.
