on classes:
kind of glad i switched class actually. i don't know, but it's the feeling i get now as i type. just relief. maybe away from all the human relationship politics.
s20 is a warm class. coupled with hot ms heng. haha. sometimes her simpleness can make our life a bit less serious. i just miss her 'xian' look when she storms in for PW!!! i seriously think we are warm people. ok, we have the mugger gang (no offence...everything i write here is my honest thoughts, and it's not against anything, anyone personal..so disclaimer), the art gang, the high gang, the shopping king, the lego man, the geniuses, the cutie pie clique ect ect. yes, we may be like 'in cliques' but sometimes we can't really blame anyone for this,right...like who's to blame for the odd combi classes and subj combi? i think it's more important that we appreciate each other rather than complain on 'the class is very unbonded'. yes, bonding is important but it cannot be rushed. rushing things just spoils relationships. people need time to accept and sink into their new environments. i think the unbondedness is because we all came in after 1st 3 months and school just come and go...the december hols will be a good time for bonding and we still got a year ahead as one.
s11 is somewhat different. a little colder and distant. how cliche these two words may seem. it's been so frequently used to describe Edmund Hooper and Mr Joseph Hooper's relationship. maybe i've just lost touch. miss some people. don't know whether to say i miss some people. for me, it was harder to fit in. maybe cos there were more sc girls, i was compared and not left to shine as my own personality? less freedom then cos everything had to be done with your class.(but it's not that i'm against class spirit, it's just that sometimes we all need some personal life)
being in an odd combi class ain't a bad thing. in fact, it's better for me. I remember i was mocked at for going to a 'unstable' class, a class where no proper bonds could form, where you were a 'loner' and had to 'eat your lunch alone'. maybe that's why i was resistant to change. resistant to the people in my new class initially. resistant to mix and find new friends. cos of all these external comments from people who
JUST HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO. I feel like letting you know now, that eating or not eating alone is not a public display of how many friends you have, how strong your friendships are. An explicit display may not depict the real story. YOu may seem to have many 'lunch dates' but in reality these 'lunch dates' are just an appearance you create for yourselves. and when the tide comes, your so called 'lunch dates'
dump you. So please, don't jump into conclusions. Secondly, i think i have the freedom to do anything i like, have fun with anyone i like. and this is my type of life. so just leave me alone.
coming to NJ and being out of sc made me more daring, have faith to stand by my beliefs and views. not to be swayed by external interference. maybe a little more.
