on school:
i'm not going to be like some people who wil suan the school for no apparent reason with blog posts critising the school values. i believe there is a reason for these values and i respect these values even though i may not agree with them sometimes.
jc life has proven many obstacles to come in life. the journey so far has been tough. pw - the late night mad rush of PIs, WRs and now to come OP..., common tests - the ultimate killer that really demoralised me and made me question whether i worked hard enough or was i really suited for jc, then came PROMOS - unavoidable and impossible. but i felt i learnt alot. learnt to manage my time, to prioritise, to just do it, to trust myself, to learn to trust people.
it's not about complaining that the school is too muggish. it's ok to mug. honestly ask yourself: if you don't mug now, you mug later and fail is it? i admit i am muggish. i mug hard to pass promos, so that i don't get RETAINED. so why should i care if you say i mug too hard? it's my future, not yours, it's my life, not yours. i have my own directions and plans. i know when to relax, when to go online to do chem quiz, when to go online and slack, when to watch movies, when to go shopping.
please, if you really am not happy with a muggish school (and keep whining on your blog), just leave, ok? there is no need to make use of satires and unjust humour to mock at the school and influence others, and make everyone unhappy or worked up. life's just like that. you gotta work hard.
i'm quite glad that though i am not blessed with a smart brain, i'm at least given the perserverence to try, to hold on and to...just keep holding on till the end.
